In Blanding, Utah at 6,500ft elevation. It was hard to breathe but I was at a 6:27 average pace and was relaxed. Train insane or remain the same. Not going to get lazy on spring break!!!

Speed workout today!! Working with the distance team to get better endurance for the 800. We did 2x600m, 500m, 400m, 300m all at mile pace. It was hard cause if the elevation and cause I'm still getting used to the mile workouts. I was hitting the times I want. Cooled off with 3 laps. It was a grew workout!

Warmed up a mile. Came out fast but perfect for the first 100m. Was leading the race but I got scared so let some kids pass me....should've lead the race. Last 400m I decided to pick up the pace, at the last 200m I kicked in and passed everyone. Got 1st with a 1:57...wasn't the time I wanted but it was a pretty good race!

Did speed with the 400 runners today! It was pretty hard! 500, 400, and 2 200's all out. It hurt but was good. Felt good to go fast again. We finished with a mile cool down. Took an ice bath and it was amazing!

Well today was a great day for racing. Did a warm up run for about 5 minutes on the indoor track. Came out at a good pace the first 100m and was in second then dropped to 3rd. Held my spot for the first lap and a half the I kicked it in at the last 200m and passed the first 2 guys. The last 100m, I felt super good. I got a 1:54 and broke the school record.

Shout out to Kaylee Kenison for PRing by 11 seconds in the 3200m! She's the hardest worker I know!

Speed today!!! 800 workout. We did 3x300, 200, 100. Was doing it at 1:53 pace. Legs got a little heavy on the 2nd set but got through it. Did a 2 mile run after PT.

Did 4 miles today. We did a distance run with 10 1minute pick ups through out it. I was only able to get 6 since my mileage is so low. Felt pretty good. Ran past the missionarys...thought that was cool! Strected for while and took an ice bath.

Speed today!! Didn't feel the greatest but I pushed through! I want a 1:53 this weekend and this workout is a good way to help! We did 2x200, 800, 400, 200, 200, 200. Thee 200s were at 800 pace and the 400 at mile pace and the 800 at 2 mile pace. It hurt and my legs got heavy but pushed through! Took an ice bath and had coach Rowe lecture me for a few minutes! :D Today could've been better but I can't complain!:)

BYU was today...got some new spikes about 2 hours before my first race. They are New balance md something. Qualified for state in the 4x400. Our time was 3:25 and we took 2nd over all. Then I had the 800...wasn't a very good race. Got boxed in and just wasn't the best race..got a 1:56 and wanted a 1:53. I'll get it at state!!!!

We had our last speed workout today. We did 200m at 800 pace, jog a 100 and sprint the last 100. We did that 3 times and hit all the times I wanted. Cooled down for like 2is miles. My calf was a little tight so I stopped so I wouldn't risk anything. Was a good day!!

Well I've been reffing a soccer tournament all weekend so I couldn't log my runs but I got them done. Today was pretty good. We had the "Kicker" workout today (uphill timed run)! I got a PR by 33 seconds...I think. It was a 8:18 and my previous time was a 8:51. I figued out how to pace myself with thom and it really has helped a ton!! Cooled down for a mile and iced with the team at the Sprin. Shout out to Kaylee for getting duncked under water! And Shout out to me for being the one to dunk her!;) Go Fam!

Well happy 24th everyone! Did a road race this morning! The temple to temple 5K. Well the first mile we were weaving through people and it was a pretty steep hill. But the last 2 Mile were flat. Well today was a distance run. My calves were still tight from the 5k I did on Monday. After the warm up, Austin and I rolled each other out for a bit and it helped a ton! Well we had are team race and I was a Captain for the Black team. We warmed up a mile and did drills. The race was pretty good. I felt like it could've made it better mentally. My time was a 17:01 so wasn't too bad. I was 6 seconds behind Micheal and that was a good feeling. Cooled down for a half mile then took an ice bath.

Today was the 6 minute test! If you don't know what that is, its to  see how many laps you can get on a track in 6 minutes.

Went out fast for the first lap (TOO FAST! It was like a 63), and tried to pace with Mike the whole time. He pulled away for 2 laps and on the 4th lap I cought him and passed him. I got 5 laps and 55 meters. My calfs hurt like crazy!!

Well got to Cedar City today for a recruting trip for SUU. We had speed today and it was ladders on the track. It was 200, 400, 800, 1600, 800, 400, and an all out 200. The rest were all at mile or 5k pace. My calves are superduper sore from the 6 minute test so it hurt but it was good.

Today we had a fun workout. 10x400m, first 5 were at 5k pace, then the next 3 were 2 mile pace, and mile pace and all out. My legs were heavy but that didn't stop me. I was consistant with all of my times and they were the times i wanted. The last 400 hurt so good. Hit a 59 on that one. Did the rest of my mileage on the bike and had Austin roll me out. Then took an ice bath when I got home.

The first mile was at perfect pace! 5:15. the second mile was a struggle...5:37....my mom was yelling at me to go faster so I did. the last mile was awesome! 5:11!! My kick hurt so good. Got a great time for me and we qualified for state!!!

Well I'm going to make it a goal to log my runs for the next month.

Today was FLIPPING AWESOME!!! I got to run all the way to highland with the team before I had to turn back. My legs did feel the best at first but they felt great more into the run. Did abs (for the first time in a really long time) and took an ice bath.

Another recovery run today. Got whipped a few times but it was fun! Did core and took an ice bath when I was done. I signed to Utah State today so that's pretty exciting! I get to run with 3 other teammates there too!!
